Work I've loved doing:
My travels have taken me over the 5,400 m Thorung La pass in Nepal (with a rucksack pinned together with safety pins), through Namibia’s Skeleton Coast, and remote Kunene region, and into Pakistan’s Northern areas and Kalash lands. I’ve hiked through India’s mysterious Living Root Bridges (pictured above), ventured to Guatemala’s lost city of El Mirador with a team of jungle patrollers, fasted solo in the Sinai Desert and Pyrenees mountains, and explored tribal Chattisgarh, India’s most forested state. I’ve taken tea with nomads in Iran, hiked for a week alone through Slovenia’s Karst, cycled nearly 500 km from Dorset, through Normandy to Brittany, been aerobatic formation flying over UK skies, sailed with an all-female crew in the Isle of Wight's epic Round the Island Race (and nearly set fire to the galley) and much more.
